FALL CONCERT SINGING TESTS

Step 1: Use the following recordings:

Concordia
Madrigals
Camerata

Step 2: Using either headphones WITH a microphone OR an alternative device (phone/tablet), plug in your headphones and load the recording.

Step 3: Open your Olathe laptop to the camera. Ensure your entire face is in full-view of the camera.

Step 4: Record the entirety of the piece. I should ONLY be hearing your voice on the video --- the recording should be playing through your headphones.

Step 5: When you've finished, saved the video as "FirstName_LastName_Class" i.e. "Baker_Purdon_Camerata"

Step 6: Navigate to your class folder and upload the video to the class folder. ENSURE that it has uploaded before you leave this step.

Concordia
Madrigals
Camerata

If you have ANY problems with this, please reach out to Mr. Purdon immediately.

These must be completed by the end of your class period on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 22!

MUSIC THEORY

INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1: Click the url for the appropriate exercise or copy and paste it into your browser

STEP 2: Click "Start Challenge" if it prompts you

STEP 3: Begin answering questions. You will keep going until you get 20 correct, no matter how many attempts (it could be 20/50, but you'll have 20 correct.)

STEP 4: If you don't like your score, click the "start challenge" page on your reports page.

STEP 5: When you've achieved a score you want to submit, click the "View Report" button under that score.

STEP 6: Where it says "Student Name", enter your FULL NAME and click "Sign Report"

STEP 7: Head to the appropriate form to submit your score:

STEP 10: SCREENSHOT YOUR SCORE PAGE. Ensure you keep the date in this so that if you must resubmit, you have proof of when it was completed. Keep this as a record for yourself. Should we not get the form correctly or the link doesn't work, you will need to be able to prove your score.

We will then check the link and put the grades in the gradebook! Keep these links - you can use them ANY time to practice these things. We will keep creating new exercises as we introduce new theory concepts.
